Great tips about how to be more likeable in your videos, thanks Pat! I like the three tips that you provided…smiling, eye contact, and gestures / leaning in. We should all watch this video before all of our recording sessions.
Pat, Thanks for the great tips on how to be likeable in your video shows. After all, you are the expert in this area! What an interesting technique to watch your own show without the audio. Smiling, eye contact, and hand gestures or body movement are all good ideas I will be trying to incorporate into my shows. Just for the record….I’m Italian so one of the things I try to control is my hand gestures but now maybe I wont be so self conscious if I talk with my hands!

Great tips in your show about how to be likeable, Pat. We tend to be more consumed with content, just like when we verbally communicate, but the research you sited confirms that non-verbals are most important when creating videos, too.
